This project merges two different yet complementary mediums to create a richer narrative, allowing the audience to experience art in a multidimensional way, to create a multi-sensory, immersive experience. The painting serves as the primary visual anchor, while the video expands on the narrative, mood, or thematic elements in motion, sound, and time.

Stillness and Motion

In one way, deepen the narrative and emotional impact of a painting through the use of video. The painting represents a moment frozen in time, while the video adds context, depth, and fluidity to the story or emotions portrayed. The project bridges the gap between static and moving art forms, blurring the boundaries between what can be experienced through a still image and what can be conveyed through motion and sound.

In another way, reveals one aspect of modern life, the life lived through the lens of a phone. Offers a compelling juxtaposition between the allure of the small screen and the expansive, immersive experience of real life, represented by a large painting. This contrast can highlight the paradox of contemporary society, where the vibrant, ever-changing world of a smartphone often overshadows the richness of reality itself.

The phone screen represents the fast, flashy, and addictive nature of modern life. It’s constantly moving, always eye-catching, and filled with curated snapshots, while the painting serves as a metaphor for the depth, complexity, and beauty of real life that often goes unnoticed. The small, portable screen becomes a filter through which life is consumed, shrinking the world to fit into a frame of pixels, while the large canvas symbolizes the full spectrum of experiences that can only be appreciated by seeing life with our own eyes.Somehow critique the modern phenomenon of screen dependency and the way in which we perceive reality through devices, often preferring the vivid, instant gratification of digital media to the subtle, slower-paced experiences of life in the real world.
